In Mali, you can travel along the country's backroads and tracks by 4x4, move on foot along the intricate Bandiagara fault in Dogon Country, and skim across the waters of the Niger River on a traditional pinasse longboat. We can suggest several different journeys that you can personalise with our help, depending on your interests and the time you have available.

"…Three hours later, relaxing over a cold drink, we relived our excursion along the steep track into the Dogon villages in the upper part of the Bandiagara fault. A complicated route involving a typical Dogon ladder: a forked tree trunk with simple cut steps that barely had space for half a foot.
Above us, a young woman arrived with a baby under one arm, happily sucking on a breast, and the other balancing a huge bucket on her head. Without hesitating an instant, she climbed nimbly, sure-footed down the worn steps. She looked at us smiling, and continued on her way down towards the plain.
That gaze, which said so many things, will be one of the glimpses from this trip to Mali that will stick in my mind."
