A NIGHT AMONGST THE MERZOUGA DUNES |

Kasbah Itran in El Kelaa Mgouna is the starting point for a five- hour journey through the Dades Valley to Merzouga. From here, we cross the dunefield on camels for 90 minutes to a jaima (traditional tent), where we spend the night. The following day we use our camels once again to return to the vehicles. We stop to visit the Dades Gorges on the outward journey and the Todra Gorges on the way back, so in just two days we not only enjoy the unforgettable experience of a night in the desert but also the two main highlights of this part of southern Morocco.. |
